Privacy Policy

1. What I collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored securely in encrypted form; I can't see them.
• Learning activity: the courses you're enrolled in, lessons you've completed, quiz and test scores, and when your course access ends.
• Your submissions: answer scripts you upload for mock exams and written practice (PDFs or photos), and the grades and feedback I give.
• Payments: a record of what you bought, when, and the amount. Card and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay or Stripe; I never receive them.
• Messages: anything you send me through the contact form or by email.

2. Why I use it

• To create your account, give you access to the courses you've enrolled in, and track your progress.
• To review your submitted answers and return grades and feedback.
• To process payments and refunds, and keep records I'm required to keep for tax and accounting.
• To send you essential emails, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password.
• To reply to your questions and improve the courses.

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who else handles your data

I use a small number of trusted services to run the platform. They only process your data to provide their service to me:

• Supabase: hosts the database, file storage (including uploaded answer scripts) and logins. Data is stored in their Mumbai, India region.
• Razorpay and Stripe: process payments.
• YouTube and Vimeo: host some lesson videos, which are embedded in lesson pages. These services may set their own cookies when you play a video, under their own privacy policies.
• An email delivery provider, to send account emails.

I may also share information if the law requires it.

4. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies to keep you logged in. I don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, I'll update this policy.

5. How long I keep it

• Account and learning data: for as long as you have an account.
• Uploaded answer scripts: for as long as you have an account, so you can look back at your feedback.
• Payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted.
• Contact form messages: until they're no longer needed to answer your enquiry.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask me to:

• give you a copy of the personal information I hold about you;
• correct anything that's wrong;
• delete your account and personal information (apart from records I have to keep by law).

7. Keeping it secure

Data is sent over encrypted connections, access to your records is restricted to you and me, and uploaded answer scripts are stored privately. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information and will let you know if a breach affects you.

8. Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll update the “last updated” date above, and let you know about significant changes.
